Lane Johnson says he’s playing Week 2 vs Rams

Lane Johnson missed week 1 but plans on playing against the LA Rams for week 2. In an interview with Derrick Gunn, Johnson said he will be out there playing and to “count on it”.
Johnson was limited in practice last week and was questionable for week 1. He tried to play but it “didn’t work out”. Jack Driscoll got the start instead. Driscoll left the game early, and the Eagles were forced to play their 3rd string option in Jordan Mailata.
The Eagles desperately need help on the offensive line and Lane Johnson has been a key piece in their success. Under Doug Pederson, the Eagles are 36-17 with Johnson and 6-12 without him.
Lane has been dealing with this injury for a while now, and had ankle surgery a few weeks ago. The guy has been playing on a high level basically on one leg. The Eagles injury report for week 2 will be released tomorrow. We’ll see how Lane is doing and if his name pops up as someone to keep an eye on leading up to the Rams game.
