Mickey Moniak is heading to Philadelphia
There’s a lot of buzz going on that Mickey Moniak will be making his way to Philadelphia to join the Phillies. It looks to be legit. Jim Salisbury is always on top of it.
The move makes sense after Kyle Garlick was injured last night in the Phillies’ 4-1 victory over the Mets.
Moniak was selected 1st overall in the 2016 draft by the Phillies and could be a much needed lift offensively for the Phillies, who are battling injuries as they enter the final stretch of the season.
