Jalen Reagor heading to IR with UCL Tear

As if things couldn’t get any worse for the Eagles, today it was announced they would be without rookie wideout Jalen Reagor for the next few weeks with a UCL Tear. With this injury Reagor will be placed on the Injured Reserved list. The UCL Tear is torn ligament in Reagor’s thumb that often effects Quarterbacks. According to Adam Caplan, Reagor is expected to miss 6-8 weeks. Last year Drew Brees was out for about 5 weeks with the same injury.
Reagor’s rookie season has been clouded with injuries. In training camp, Reagor had a minor tear in his shoulder but was able to recover in time for the season opener against Washington. This hurts a depleted receiver group as Desean Jackson and company will need to step up in his absence.
Other injuries noted were Fletcher Cox and Rudy Ford. Fletcher Cox had an Oblique injury on Sunday but it was not stated if he would be missing time. Rudy Ford is also week to week with a groin injury. Just as the Eagles got healthy, more key pieces continue to go down. Philadelphia plays Cincinnati at home at 1:00 on Sunday.
