Fans Back in Philadelphia?
Governor Tom Wolf has announced today that starting Friday, all outdoor sporting events in PA can have fans at 15% capacity. The max amount of fans allowed will be 7,500.
This news comes just in time for this weekend as the Philadelphia Eagles travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers. As for fans at the Linc, the city of Philadelphia needs to approve of any amount of fans at Eagles games.
The Mayor of Philadelphia will have an answer to this at 1 PM today during a press conference.
The Philadelphia Union have already made an announcement following Governor Wolf’s decision.
“The Philadelphia Union is in full support of Pennsylvania Governor Wolf’s announcement today allowing fans to attend sporting events in a limited capacity and safe way. We will be implementing a series of strict protocols and safety measures to ensure the health and safety of our fans at Subaru Park and will make an announcement shortly with information on the first game that will be open to fans.”
