NFL Veteran compares Travis Fulgham to Larry Fitzgerald

Eagles breakout WR Travis Fulgham has been getting a lot of attention around the league. After his 10 catch, 152-yard performance last week, many are now speculating that Fulgham has all the tools to be a legitimate receiver for the Eagles. Fulgham has received praise from NFL legend Chad Johnson this week and is now garnering national recognition from ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky:
“I had to break down Fulgham’s tape back when I was with the Lions & I’m going to say something & please don’t freak out but his body control reminded me of Larry Fitzgerald, I’m not saying he’s Fitz obviously, that’s a hard thing to teach.” – @danorlovsky7

Typically a sample size of just two games isn’t enough to figure out what a player can really be in the long-term. From what we’ve seen, however, Travis Fulgham certainly doesn’t seem to be a fluke. If he can make another impact this Sunday against a Ravens team that will be game-planning against him, the Eagles may have finally found their diamond in the rough.
