Eagles release Jamon Brown, promote Jason Croom to 53 man roster

After one of the worst performances in recent NFL history, the Eagles moved on from Jamon Brown this afternoon. Brown was responsible for 4 of the Ravens 6 sacks on Sunday. Jamon was a former starter for the Rams and Falcons before arriving here.
Brown’s replacement is currently unknown. Matt Pryor is currently on the COVID-19/reserve list and is unsure if he will be playing on Thursday. Their other backup guard is Sue Opeta. Opeta is a rookie out of Weber State. Another unlikely option is they could pursue Quinton Spain.
Spain was just released from the Buffalo Bills earlier today in what was seen as a shock. Fletcher Cox recently restructured his contract to open 6 million in space in the 2020 season. I don’t think they pursue Spain but likely for Trade Deadline flexibility.
Jason Croom is promoted after a shocking performance against Baltimore, stepping in and grabbing a touchdown. This was after Zach Ertz was placed on IR until week 10 and Dallas Goedert still being out. With Richard Rodgers ahead of him you could see him get some action on Thursday.
