T.J Edwards is the best LB for the Eagles and it isn’t close

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker T.J Edwards made a name for himself Sunday Night vs the Dallas Cowboys. Edwards had 13 tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss, a QB hit, and was a part of the game-sealing play.
Fans have been frustrated for a while now about the linebacker position, but maybe the Eagles finally have a solid linebacker. Now, I’m not saying Edwards is amazing, but overall I think he is good enough to get the job done every week. He and Alex Singleton seemed to always be around the ball against Dallas. Both linebackers played on 78% of snaps. Sadly, it took a Nate Gerry injury for defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz to give the young guys a chance to play. Go back and watch the T.J Edwards stopping the run. Almost every time, Edwards made the right read and was there to make the tackle.
A reminder for those who may have forgotten, T.J Edwards was an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin in 2019. Many were surprised that he went undrafted because of his upside. At Wisconsin, Edwards had a career total of 10 interceptions, which is the most by a linebacker in school history. He also had 367 total tackles at Wisconsin, ranking as the 9th most in school history.
Edwards is only in his second season of the NFL and looks to be improving every game. The Eagles will have Edwards on a good rookie contract as well which is always a plus. T.J Edwards returned at the right time, and he was my player of the game last night.
