Miles Sanders and Alshon Jeffery to return from injury next week

Help is on the way in Philadelphia. After missing the last few weeks with a knee injury, Miles Sanders is set to be a full participant in practice on Monday for the Eagles.
Miles was a close call last week against Dallas and will be a huge return for the Eagles. Boston Scott has done a solid job in his place but Sanders was fantastic when healthy.
Miles isn’t alone. Alshon Jeffery is finally expected to return after missing the entire 2020 season. Jeffery’s season ended early in 2019 with a Lisfranc injury in his foot.
Alshon fully recovered a few weeks ago but suffered a calf injury while in practice sidelining him a few more weeks.
It is unclear what Alshon’s role will be in the Eagles offense. Travis Fulgham has been one of the best receivers in the NFL the last few weeks and first round pick Jalen Reagor just returned and has been playing well also.
Jeffery will likely be the third option replacing Greg Ward on offense. If Jeffery can play to 80% of his talent he had before it will be a highly needed boost to the Philadelphia offense.
Hopefully this week allowed players like Lane Johnson, Jack Driscoll, Malik Jackson, and Cre’Von LeBlanc to heal up before going to New York on Sunday to face the Giants.
