Tyrell Terry Continues to be the popular Sixers 2020 Mock Draft Pick

Somehow the NBA draft is only about a week away. Mock drafts have been flooding the internet for weeks now, and one name that appears to be coming up more than others is Tyrell Terry.
The latest mock draft performed by NBC Sports has the 76ers taking Tyrell Terry most notably.
Philly has one of the best starting fives in the NBA. They also have one of the worst second units. They can go in a lot of different directions at this point in the draft. They need a big to fill in when Joel Embiid goes down. They could also use a point guard that can eat minutes and allow Ben Simmons to play at one of the other four spots on the floor.

It seems the Sixers have indeed done their homework on Terry as well.
Terry’s skillset is very intriguing in regards to pairing alongside Joel and Ben. Terry is a guard that can shoot from anywhere on the court. Terry shot just under 41% from three on 4.9 attempts per game. To pair with this skillset is a great level of intelligence he brings to the game. He reads the floor well and apparently has impressed in his interviews.
The common knock on Terry has been his size. He measures at 6’2 and 170 pounds. Many believe this will hurt him on both ends of the court. Especially the defensive end, where he will be attacked often. Terry isn’t going to let that get in the way. He has apparently grown and packed on muscle.
It will be very interesting to see whether or not this new Sixers front office ultimately holds on to the 21st overall pick. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they left the first round with Tyrell Terry as their pick.
