Round 2: Eagles-Giants Week 10 Preview

After a much needed bye week, the Eagles are now starting the second half of the season. Philadelphia will face the New York Giants Sunday afternoon before heading into their toughest stretch of the season.
Where: Metlife Stadium
When: 1:00 PM Eastern
Channel: FOX
In their matchup in Week 7, Philadelphia barely got by with a 22-21 victory. Carson Wentz had a solid game, but there was many points left on the field that could have been capitalized on better.
Luckily for the Eagles, they will be much healthier this time around. Lane Johnson was dealing with injuries throughout the last matchup but seems to be ready to go. Jalen Reagor, Alshon Jeffery, Dallas Goedert, Miles Sanders and many more are available this week that didn’t play in Week 7.
Up front, Isaac Seumalo could return alongside Lane Johnson to help the O-Line. Nate Herbig will likely start over Matt Pryor at the other guard spot but it is unknown who will start between Jordan Mailata and Jason Peters.
In week 7, New York only had 187 yards through the air and faltered in the running game also. Daniel Jones had a huge 80 yard run but not much outside of that. Wayne Gallman finished with only 34 yards leading the group besides Jones. Devonta Freeman is out again on IR with an ankle injury. If the Eagles’ defense plays smart and makes the right reads, there is no reason to allow that many points again.
With all of the help Philadelphia has now they didn’t last time there is no reason they shouldn’t leave this game with a win. A victory on Sunday will place them at 4-4-1, and 3-1 in the division this season. It is a must win with their next five games being against Cleveland, Seattle, Green Bay, New Orleans, and Arizona.
