Doug Pederson to Give Up Play calling?

Earlier today, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson revealed that he will be giving up some play calling duties to quarterback coach Press Taylor.
It appears that Doug has finally given it some thought and is interested in seeing how the offense will look with someone else calling the plays. However, I don’t think they gave the job to the right person. Quarterback coach Press Taylor is being accused by many fans for Carson Wentz’s poor mechanics this season.
There have been some reports of their relationship as “buddies”.
Why would you want him in charge of play-calling? Well, let’s give him some benefit of the doubt. Out of all the people to know Carson’s strengths, it should be Press Taylor, the guy who spends the most time with him. Maybe he will finally get Carson Wentz out of the pocket early and often. Even if the season is “over” I’d like to end this year with some positive notes about Carson Wentz. It has been Wentz’s worst season so far in his career, but there’s no doubt in my mind that he can’t recover from this. It all starts with coaching, and it’s clearly not good enough.
