LeGarrette Blount Announces Retirement

LeGarrette Blount has announced his retirement from the NFL on Instagram.
In his 10 year career, Blount rushed over 6,300 yards and had 56 touchdowns. Blount won his third and final ring with the Philadelphia Eagles. Howie Roseman signed him to a one year 1.25 million dollar contract following his 2016 season as the rushing touchdown leader. He played a big part in their Super Bowl run and led the Eagles in rushing in Super Bowl 52. It is clear how special of a year this was for Blount.
“PHILADELPHIA!! PHILLY PHILLY!!! PHILLY SPECIAL!!! Doug, Howie Roseman, and Mr. Lurie. That entire season was one of the most special seasons in my entire career for so many reasons!! Getting my 3rd SB ring is just icing on the cake that season. Eagles Nation!!“
