Three Eagles players selected to Pro Bowl team

Yesterday the NFL announced their rosters for the 2021 Pro Bowl and the Eagles have some nominations. Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, and Jason Kelce were all named as selections to this season’s Pro Bowl. Due to COVID-19, there will be no physical Pro Bowl but players will play virtually through Madden 21.
Brandon Graham landed his first nomination in 11 seasons. The 32-year-old defensive end is on pace to have his career-high in sacks, tackles, and tackles for loss. Graham is long deserving of this award. He is the longest-tenured player on the Eagles’ defense and considered one of the best Eagles’ edge rushers ever.
Fletcher Cox joins Graham as another presence on the defensive line in the Pro Bowl. Cox earned his sixth nomination having another stellar season. Fletch has 6.5 sacks on the season and while he isn’t hitting career-high numbers, his presence is still greatly felt on the field. Cox and Graham command one of the best Eagles’ defensive lines since the 1990s’.
On the other side of the ball, Jason Kelce earned his fourth nomination. This is the most Pro-Bowl selections by a center in Eagles history. Kelce has been the best center in the NFL for a few seasons and been the glue of this offensive line. While several tackles and guards have gone down next to him, Kelce continues to push through injury for this team. All three of the Eagles nominations are captains this season.
