Report- NBA Fines 76ers $25k for Ben Simmons Injury

The Philadelphia 76ers have been fined $25,000 for a late injury report addition in Ben Simmons on Saturday, January 9th, according to Yahoo’s Chris Haynes.
Now, Saturday was a wild day for the Philadelphia 76ers. After SG Seth Curry’s positive COVID-19 test seemed to derail any possibility of playing a game, The NBA essentially gave Philadelphia no option other than to forfeit or force an injured player to suit up. The Sixers took the latter and dressed Mike Scott despite him being injured. This allowed the game to be played, however, Scott sat the entirety of the game as they played with just 7 active players.
A question that commissioner Adam Silver must address is this- Why in the world does he have so much animosity towards Philadelphia? In recent events, multiple NBA games have been postponed due to teams only having 7 players. However, when that team is the Philadelphia 76ers, there is no sympathy. There is no remorse. 76ers Superstar Joel Embiid says it best- They hate the process.
