Joel Embiid and Seth Curry set to return tomorrow night vs Celtics

The Philadelphia 76ers got some good news today as Joel Embiid is expected to return to the 76ers lineup against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
Embiid did not make the weekend road trip to Memphis or Oklahoma City. The 76ers lost to the Grizzlies and their game against Oklahoma City was postponed due to COVID-19 contact tracing that left them below the league minimum of eight players required to move forward with a game. In three games without Embiid this year, the 9-5 Sixers are 0-3. He’s currently averaging 26 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game.
Seth Curry has also been cleared to play in tomorrow’s game. Curry did not show up on the NBA’s injury report after missing the last five games while in health and safety protocol for testing positive for COVID-19. Mike Scott (right knee swelling) and center Vincent Poirier (health and safety) will be out for tomorrow’s game.
The Boston Celtics will be without Jayson Tatum (health and safety), Romeo Langford (right wrist), and Carsen Edwards (health and safety) for tomorrow’s game.
The Sixers will host the Boston Celtics (8-4) on tomorrow night and Friday.
