Report: 76ers interested in reunion with J.J. Redick

A reunion could be in place for the Sixers. According to Shams Charania, the New Orleans Pelicans are shopping guard J.J. Redick and the 76ers are one of the listed candidates. Redick was a Sixer for two seasons for departing for New Orleans in the summer of 2019.
J.J. is in his 15th season in the league and has been having a significant down year. The 36-year-old is shooting just under 30% from three in six attempts through 16 games. Redick averaged 45% from three during his two seasons here in Philadelphia for reference.
Redick has one year remaining on his contract at $13 million. New Orleans has been shopping both Redick and Ball this last week. Other suitors include the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets. Redick has a desire to return to the northeast, so the list likely won’t grow much.
If Philadelphia wanted to bring back Redick, their package would likely center around Mike Scott, Terrance Ferguson, and Tony Bradley or Vincent Poirier financially speaking. J.J often speaks of his time in Philly and was close with former head coach Brett Brown. The NBA trade deadline is March 26th.
