Alex Singleton clears air on Eagles’ quarterback situation

Even with this week being Super Bowl week, the Eagles are still in the news. Following the Jared Goff trade, Carson Wentz and Jalen Hurts were once again thrown into the spotlight. Carson has been silent on social media outside of an advertisement all offseason. Some have claimed his silence is because he is seeking a way out of Philly.
In a breath of fresh air, linebacker Alex Singleton sat down with Rob Maaddi and cleared the air about what was going on. Singleton remarked that nobody in their locker room had taken any side and fully supported the starter. Alex also said there was never any hostility, just confused about what was going on with the situation.
“There was never any hostility at all about the quarterback situation. If anything, guys were just confused as to what was going on. We were all ready to ride and compete for whoever was in because we know they’re both great.”
Several reports were made based on claims Eagles players were taking sides based on tweets and Instagram likes. It was nice to have a player come out and say nothing of the sort had happened. Nick Sirianni has publicly displayed they have yet to decide on who their starting quarterback is.
