76ers Fall to Shorthanded Blazers 121-105 In Abysmal Performance

The Philadelphia 76ers were toppled by the Lillard-less Blazers tonight by a score of 121-105, however, it felt like quite a bit more.
Joel Embiid was the Sixers’ only highlight of the night, dropping 25 points in the 2nd quarter alone after an injury scare on his knee. He would finish with 37 points and 5 rebounds. Another point that should be made is the 76ers were without defensive presence Ben Simmons tonight, which clearly shows on the final score. In a game like tonight, you certainly would’ve liked Tobias Harris to step up and continue his all-star campaign. He finished with just 12 points on 5/14 shooting.
In a game that certainly seemed like a scheduled loss after Simmons was ruled out, this one is best to put behind us. The 76ers’ next game is a possible playoff matchup against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday, February 6th at 8:00 pm.
