More Phillies fans at Citizens Bank Park

Citizens Bank Park occupancy restrictions increased yesterday from 20% to 25%. The ballpark can now hold up to 11,000 fans, an increase of about 3,000 from the previous limit. Opening Day and game two had roughly 8,529 fans, while Sunday’s game was much closer to 11,000.
The commonwealth of Pennsylvania in mid-March increased maximum occupancy for outdoor events to 50%. However, the city of Philadelphia did not match the states new guidelines and only slight increased the number of fans the Phillies can allow inside Citizens Bank Park.
The Phillies play their fist six games at before a seven-game road trip to Atlanta and New York. The first 13 games this season will be against the Atlanta Braves and the New York Mets.
The Phillies will be back in Citizens Bank Park on April 16th for three games against the St. Louis Cardinals and three against the San Francisco Giants.
