Eagles announce hat for 2021 Draft, and they’re a bit underwhelming

One thing that fans have always looked towards during the NFL Draft is the unique and creative hats given to each draft pick when selected. In the last few years, the designs have been a bit disappointing. Last season the Eagles’ draft cap was just a black hat with the Eagles logo almost inverted and 2019 the brim of the hat looked like an Ed Hardy shirt.
Last night, the NFL released the designs for all the 2021 hats, and once again, they failed to meet fans’ expectations.

The design seems to be based on a basic trucker cap design since the draft will be taking place in Cleveland. The logo on the front of that hat is boring and bland and looks like a hat you would get at Walmart. With the trucker design the back of the hat is all mesh as well.
These designs aren’t the Eagles’ fault, though, with New Era creating a mass template for all 32 teams and making minor tweaks for each franchise. Hopefully, they will look better in person, but for a fan looking to buy one, $40 is ridiculously overpriced.
