Injury updates on Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Smith

Earlier today, the Alabama Crimson Tide provided some injury updates regarding two possible Eagles draft picks, Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Smith. These updates are regarding injuries suffered towards the end of the last college football season and are not newly sustained injuries.
Jaylen Waddle suffered a dislocated ankle during week five and missed the rest of the season until he played against Ohio State in the National Championship. During the title game, Jaylen was still battling his ankle injury but managed to play through it to secure the championship. When heading to Indianapolis for the NFL Scouting Combine, his medical exam showed the dislocated ankle is healing correctly. No setbacks are prohibiting Waddle from starting the 2021 season on time.
Fellow Alabama WR DeVonta Smith dislocated his finger and tore some ligaments during the National Championship against the Buckeyes, and he missed the entire second half. During the first half, Smith exploded for 215 yards and three touchdowns in a dominant showing. According to his medical exam, Smith is also healing properly, and there are no other issues that have arisen with the injury.
The 2021 NFL Draft is just two weeks away, starting on April 29th. Currently, the Eagles hold the 12th pick and look to be in a prime position to take either Smith or Waddle alongside several other top prospects.
