Ron Jaworski speaks on Jalen Hurts and the Eagles QB situation

Many former NFL quarterbacks have offered their two cents on the Eagles quarterback situation over the last several years, such as Brett Favre. The latest in that stretch is former Eagles QB and analyst Ron Jaworski. Jaworksi spoke on Hurts earlier this week with Sports Illustrated on what he thinks Jalen’s potential could be in the NFL.

We’ll start with the obvious:

“It’s crystal clear if you look at the physical talents of Jalen hurts; he has NFL talent.”

The other significant piece was when Ron was asked if he believes that Hurts is the long term answer for Philadelphia right now, to which he responded:

“Incomplete right now… it takes time to develop in this league.”

Jaws is right on par with the consensus of many Eagles fans with Jalen Hurts. A large majority of the fan base is rooting for Jalen to succeed. The question of if he is capable leaves many up in the air. Hopefully, he is given his fair chance to succeed regardless this upcoming season, but Howie Roseman hasn’t made it that easy for him. Philly tried to trade up to select Zach Wilson a few weeks back and remain in the hunt for Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.
