Former Eagles DT Mike Golic to announce day two pick during NFL Draft

During the NFL Draft, teams often have a guest announcer for their picks during the second and third days following commissioner Rodger Goodell. Some of these exciting announcers in years past include David Akers talking trash on the Dallas Cowboys or Pat McAfee’s electric speech for the Colts in 2019. Earlier today, the Eagles began to announce who will step up to the podium for them in 2021.
Former Eagles defensive tackle and ESPN personality Mike Golic will announce the Eagles pick at some point during day two of the 2021 NFL Draft. Golic played for the Eagles from 1987 until 1992 as a defensive tackle. Over five seasons, Mike had 10.5 sacks for the birds and played alongside legends like Reggie White and Jerome Brown.
Golic is no stranger to the Philadelphia area in his broadcasting career either, starting in Philly with the Randall Cunningham Show. Despite that, he is best known for the ESPN radio show, Mike and Mike. The 2021 NFL Draft is just six days away, and Golic will announce the selection during the second day of the draft, which is April 30th.
