Rumor: Eagles looking to trade up and get ahead of Dallas

It’s officially draft day and the Eagles are wasting no time in making calls around the league. Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Eagles have been busy on the phones in hopes of moving up ahead of Dallas in the draft:
The Eagles have been active this week with phone calls on a potential move-up. Multiple teams in that range think Philly might be trying to get ahead of Dallas for one of the top corners. Some NFC East jockeying going on.

If the Eagles do covet one of Patrick Surtain or Jaycee Horn, getting ahead of Dallas is the right move as the Cowboys need secondary help in a bad way. After trading back to #12 last month, there’s no guarantee that either CB will be available by the time the Eagles make their selection. You never know how the board will fall on draft day, so entertaining all options ahead of time isn’t a bad idea.
After getting screwed out of CeeDee Lamb in last year’s draft, it would be nice to watch the Eagles steal an elite defensive prospect away from the Cowboys. The Eagles were able to select Jaycee Horn by staying put at #12 in my latest mock draft.
With the NFL draft just two days away, here’s my final projection on what the Eagles’ selections could look like.https://t.co/l1dRxuvTCY
