The 76ers Roll into San Antonio Looking to Extend Their Win Streak

Get ready for Sunday Night Basketball as the 76ers travel to San Antonio to face off against the Spurs, who are currently 10th in the Western Conference. The Sixers are rolling on a three-game win streak and coming off of two massive victories against Atlanta.
Philadelphia is finding their stride at the right time, and a win today coupled with a Brooklyn loss in Milwaukee would mean the Sixers regain their natural position atop the Eastern Conference. After a brutal stretch, the Sixers are finally all healthy and look to continue on this run on the final stretch to the playoffs.
Looking at the final matchup between San Antonio and Philadelphia, in recent years the Sixers have basically owned the Spurs. I would expect nothing less from Philly tonight with Dejounte Murray, Trey Lyles, and Derrick White all on the injury report. On top of that, the Spurs are wielding one of the worst defensive ratings in the league during their last three games (126 DefRTG), and without a few of their core players, it could be another ugly game for San Antonio.
Barring a meltdown from Philadelphia, it seems like the Spurs will just be acting as another stepping stone for the Sixers on their way to the playoffs. It would be great to see the starters get their rest at the end of the game again, and hopefully, that means we get more BBall Paul action as well.
For the betting people out there, the Sixers are the favorite tonight by 6.5 points, and the over/under is set at 221. As many of you recall, the last time the Sixers faced off against San Antonio it was the first game with fans in the Wells Fargo Center. They then proceeded to blow the Spurs out by a final score of 134-99. Unfortunately, we all have to be Bucks fans today in hopes that Philly gets the chance to regain possession of first place in the East. Otherwise, Philadelphia plays again tomorrow night in Chicago.
