Panthers interested in Eagles Ian Cunningham for Assistant GM job

After a great draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, the team could be losing a front office member. The Carolina Panthers have been searching for candidates to fill their assistant general manager position over the last several days. Yesterday they requested to interview Ian Cunningham, the Eagles assistant director of player personnel.
Cunningham has been with the Eagles for over four years and took his current position back in 2019. Carolina has reached out to a few other candidates, including Buffalo Bills director of player personnel Dan Morgan. This hiring wouldn’t be the first time the Panthers poached an Eagles front office member. Over the last several years, numerous execs have been hired by the Panthers and they interviewed former Vice President Andrew Berry back in 2020 but were shut down.
Numerous executives have been growing within the Eagles organization, including current Jets general manager Joe Douglas and Eagles VP of player personnel Andy Weidl. Douglas left the Eagles back in 2019 after three seasons in Philadelphia.
