Flyers sign 168th overall pick in 2017 draft, Olle Lycksell

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed RW Olle Lycksell to a two-year, entry-level contract, set to kick in next season. Lycksell was drafted in the 6th round (168th overall) in 2017 by the Flyers.
Lycksell is a 5’10, 165lb winger from Sweden who scored 9G-12A-21P in 46 games in SHL this year. Lycksell won’t “wow” you with anything but he could be a solid addition to the Phantoms top six next year. Lycksell’s contract with Färjestad BK has a year left, so his future is still in question.
He’s a solid player who can also bring a little skill. He didn’t see a jump in points from the previous years (21 points two seasons in a row), but Lycksell did score his 21 points this season in five less games.
Here’s a little clip showcasing his skill, it’s there.
Excited to watch the development of Olle Lycksell. I was beginning to wonder if Chuck wanted to sign Olle, considering they had until June 1st to sign him, now I have my answer.
