Report: Dwight Howard Suspended for One Game

76ers center Dwight Howard has been suspended by the NBA for one game after receiving his 16th technical foul of the season last night against the Miami Heat. The technical foul occurred early in the second quarter, when Howard found himself in an altercation with Udonis Haslem.
According to the NBA/s set rules, a player must be suspended for one game without pay after he gathers 16 technical fouls. If Dwight were to gain another two during the final 2 games of the regular season, he will be suspended for one game again.
The Sixers will be back in action tonight against the Orlando Magic looking to secure the one seed in the Eastern Conference. Third time’s a charm.
