Media Blackout: Fraudulent Atlanta Hawks fans cheer for an injured Joel Embiid

What happens when you have a city that doesn’t support their sports teams unless they are playing in the playoffs? I’m so glad you asked. Let’s check in with the Atlanta Hawks.
These fraudulent losers packed the Hawks arena on Friday night. You had a bunch of washed up rappers, celebrities, and a ton of Atlanta “fans” that couldn’t name the starting lineup for the Hawks a month ago in the building for game three of the Sixers-Hawks series.
Of course, the Sixers absolutely destroyed the Hawks yet again, who for whatever reason believe they should be allowed to play basketball on the same court as the Sixers. The Hawks as a team, stink. Trae Young is a drama queen and has been exposed by playing against a real defense, and more specifically, Ben Simmons and Matisse Thybulle.
Luckily for Trae Young, this article isn’t about him. It’s about the scum in the seats during game four. If you’re wondering why I’m just writing this now on Sunday night when the game was on Friday night, it’s because I was out enjoying myself at the Jersey Shore all weekend. As I sat on the beach slamming alcoholic beverages, I crushed each can in anger as I put them in the empty beer can bag. For years, I have watched the national and local media alike criticize the city of Philadelphia for how we treat opposing players and teams when they are in Philadelphia.
In Atlanta, where again, no one actually likes the Hawks, these “fans” cheered on multiple occasions when Joel Embiid winced or grabbed his hurt knee during game four.
Exhibit A:
Exhibit B:
Maybe you can chalk this type of behavior up to the fact that Atlanta “fans” have never been to basketball game before and don’t know how to act in the presence of greatness. Maybe it’s because they are all a bunch of fraudulent losers that can’t handle a good old fashioned ass whooping in the playoffs. Maybe the city of Atlanta is just filled with a bunch of sore losers and scum bag fans. My guess, it’s a mixture of the above.
Where’s the coverage on this? ESPN? Nothing? You love to take jabs at Philly and couldn’t shut up about the popcorn, but no mention of this type of behavior?
Lebron? No tweets from Cancun? Any other NBA player want to speak out against this type of behavior? Surely Russell Westbrook said something as the leader of the Players vs Fans movement?
Nope. Complete silence.
It’s abundantly clear that the NBA, media, and pretty much anyone outside the city of Philadelphia hate the 76ers. Maybe if they stopped for one second and took a look at a player like Joel Embiid, who is nothing but pure class on and off the court, they’d realize why fan behavior like this is absolutely disgusting.
Good news for us and the Sixers, the Hawks are absolutely terrible and will be lucky to survive another two games against the 76ers. They are a gimmick team that relies on alley-oops and three pointers. The Sixers should win tomorrow and close it out later this week at home. From there, we can go back to not talking about Atlanta Hawks basketball like we do the 48 other weeks of the year.

[…] Philadelphia’s defense against Trae Young has been phenomenal. In the last two games, he hasn’t been able to get much going on offense while going up against Ben Simmons and Matisse Thybulle. Even in front of his home crowd in Atlanta, Young struggled until late in the fourth quarter. While the 76ers dominate no matter who they’re in front of, it will be interesting to see if the city of Atlanta decides to show any class tonight. […]
