Ranking NBA's Best Dressed Players: 76ers Stars Land in Top 10

The NBA has taken over the fashion world over the last several years. The pregame entry into the locker room in the tunnels of arenas has turned into fashion runways, with players’ fashion choices on full display across social media. Recently, RushOrderTees.com conducted a survey ranking fan’s favorite and least favorite wardrobes in the NBA.

RushOrderTees collected a total of 1,117 NBA pregame outfit images for the top six players (by minutes per game) for each NBA team. That’s good for roughly 6.2 images per player with the maximum being 10 images. From there, RushOrderTees collected 25 individual responses for each image (27,925 total), using Amazing MTurk Image Classification. Participants were asked to rate players’ outfits on a scale of 1 to 10 and a word association based on a list of six words they provided.

76ers guard Ben Simmons always is dressed to the nines whenever possible, always wearing the top brands. According to fans, he is ranked seventh in the NBA in best-dressed, trailing players like Jamal Murray, RJ Barrett, and Garrett Temple. Fans ranked Ben a 6.6 out of ten. When asked to give one word to describe his clothing choices, 30.4% said vibrant, 26.8% said fresh, 19.6% said edgy, and 10.4% said hard to pull off.

In a separate ranking, Ben was also tied for eighth in best streetwear outfits. Fans gave him a 7.2/10 rating, while Tobias Harris was ranked second with a 7.4. Ahead of him was Brooklyn Nets forward Blake Griffin with a 7.5.

Joel Embiid has worn some interesting outfits when traveling, once wearing a full hazmat suit to the NBA Bubble. Joel was ranked third in most questionable pregame outfits, with 18% using it as their one word to describe him.

Overall, the 76ers were ranked 4th most fresh NBA team with 27.5%, right behind their current opponents, the Atlanta Hawks who were third. Hopefully, the 76ers’ fashion sense will translate onto the court tonight as they gear up to face the Atlanta Hawks at 8:30 tonight in Atlanta.
