Bryce Harper Injured and more roster moves for the Phillies

Bryce Harper was hit in the leg with a 91.6mph changeup from Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom during Saturday’s 4-3 loss in New York City. The pitch bounced in the dirt as Harper squared up to bunt. Harper stayed in the game and ran the bases as the Phillies took a 2-1 lead against the Mets but was then pulled in the bottom of the inning for Travis Jankowski.
The Phillies blew another save yesterday and lost to the Mets 4-3.
After the game, Joe Girardi said that Harper is limping and his status for today’s finale against the Mets is uncertain. The Mets announced that Marcus Stroman would be coming off the injured list to pitch today against Zack Wheeler.

Phillies Roster Moves
Andrew Knapp has been reinstated after a trip to the 7-Day concussion injured list. Rafael Marchan will head back to Triple A Lehigh Valley.
Enyel De Los Santos is back with the Phillies and Matt Vierling will be optioned back to Triple A Lehigh Valley. Vierling, who was called up by the Phillies, played well but only appeared in games a few times, which makes me wonder why he was even called up in the first place. He went 3-for-6 in limited appearances.
