New Era strikes again. Earlier today, the NBA released all 30 teams’ hats for the 2021 NBA Draft. The Sixers design is a drastic change from their 2020 look but overall, it isn’t horrible. New Era has been underwhelming in their designs for the Phillies, creating some monstrosities recently. Here’s a look at the 76ers 2021 hat.

The hat features the NBA’s 75th Anniversary logo, which was released just yesterday. The blue hat features a red brim and PHILA across the front with the 76ers’ “Unite or Die” snake inside the lettering. Compared to previous caps, this one is pretty average. For reference, here is what the Sixers hat looked like last season.

Last year’s design was unique and one of the best in recent memory. But with how the Eagles draft hat turned out in 2021, things could be worse for the 76ers. Philadelphia owns the 28th, and 50th picks in the 2021 NBA Draft, which is just three weeks away on July 29th.
