PFF: “Smart bet” for Eagles to have worst record in 2021

Keep the hate coming. Everyone across the national media has doubted the Eagles heading into the 2021 season. From Jalen Hurts being left out of the top-40 quarterbacks and several other snubs, there is a large chip on their shoulder. While some have shown confidence when gambling on the Eagles, Pro Football Focus thinks otherwise.
Recently, PFF released their best bets for the 2021 season, and Philly made the list, but not in a good way. Austin Gayle said that he feels that the best bet to make for the 2021 season is +1400 on the Eagles to have the worst record in the NFL. PFF used Draft Kings for their win totals which have the Eagles at 6.5 this upcoming season.
Even if analysts think the Eagles won’t have a successful season, they have the easiest strength of schedule by a large margin, according to CBS. Philadelphia will face teams like the Lions, Jets, and of course, the very weak NFC East.
Also, there are far worse teams in the league, such as the depleted Houston Texans, which could make an easy case for 0-17, depending on Deshaun Watson. For Philadelphia, training camp is just over a week away, with their first preseason game in just three weeks.
