Report: Sixers attempting to bring back Danny Green

Per multiple sources, The Philadelphia 76ers are attempting to run it back with Danny Green for the upcoming season. Green was acquired last year in the trade that sent Al Horford to Oklahoma City.
This past season, Danny Green averaged 9.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.7 assists on 41% from the field and 40% from the perimeter. Green was just about an everyday starter for the Sixers, playing in 69 out of the shortened 72 game season. Green performed around the same with 7.4 points, 2.6 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game in the playoffs.

Green is certainly a solid asset for Philadelphia, winning the NBA finals with 3 different teams throughout his career and being a veteran leader for the locker room. However, with his comments from just a few weeks ago about his disagreements with Sixers fans, it will certainly be interesting to see the reaction should he come back.
