Doug Pederson passed up on 2 offensive coordinator jobs

Doug Pederson seems to be taking his time getting back to the NFL. According to Brandon Lee Gowton, Pederson discussed how he visited the Colts training camp and mentioned some job opportunities he passed on.
“I had two chances to get back in, but it just didn’t feel right to rush back after what happened. I needed time away to clear my head. But I do want to coach again. I’d love to coach next season. The longer you’re out, the harder it is to get back in.”
Following that quote in the original article, it was mentioned that the two jobs were offensive coordinator positions, which isn’t much of a surprise. Doug Pederson was initially the OC in Kansas City, and any head coach is likely to return in a prominent coordinator role.
It’s unclear who the two offers were from, but one is likely from the Seattle Seahawks. Shortly after he was let go, the Seahawks and Doug Pederson spoke about their open OC position, but nothing came to fruition. During that interview above, Pederson discussed visiting Carson Wentz and how he wanted to see him after how last season ended. If he returns next season, Pederson will likely be back in a vital role in the NFL.
