Flyers bring back Connor Bunnaman on two-year, $1.5 million deal

The Flyers announced earlier today that they would be re-signing RFA Connor Bunnaman on a two-year deal. Bunnaman’s contract is worth a total of $1.5 million with an AAV of $750,000 according to the Flyers’ announcement. Philly drafted the forward during the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft.
Connor Bunnaman wasn’t a significant contributor to the Flyers last season, posting just one assist in 18 games. He spent a decent amount of time in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms but didn’t have much success there as well. Bunnaman has been moved consistently between the AHL and NHL for several years but hasn’t been able to do much with his opportunities.
According to Cap Friendly, the Flyers will have a bit over $3 million after this signing with Travis Sanheim still on the market. Currently, Chuck Fletcher is waiting for arbitration to determine Sanheim’s value with training camp less than a month away.
