Roster moves: Rhys Hoskins returns to Phillies lineup for afternoon matchup against Padres

Help is on the way for the Philadelphia Phillies. Just now, Philadelphia announced that Rhys Hoskins would be returning from the 10-day-DL and will play this afternoon against the Padres. Hoskins has been out with a groin injury that has lingered around for a few weeks. With Hoskins returning, Alec Bohm will be headed to Lehigh Valley in an attempt to work him out of this defensive slump.
Bohm has been horrid defensively, while Ronald Torreyes has been a solid upgrade at third base. With Philadelphia desperately needing help in the infield, it makes sense that Bohm is, unfortunately, the odd man out. Hopefully, this move will allow Alec to gain some confidence in the minors. While he’s had issues on defense, Bohm has improved on offense, batting a .277 average with 23 hits over the last 30 games.
Phillies starting lineup:
Odubel Herrera will be leading off tonight with JT Realmuto back in at catcher. Kyle Gibson is on the mound for the Phils. After an embarrassing loss last night, the Phillies have a shot at regaining some momentum and take the series win from San Diego before heading home to face the Rays.
