Eagles waive Jason Huntley and others, running back rotation is set

The Eagles roster cuts continue as they have to trim down to 53 players by 4 PM today.

Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the team is releasing RB Jason Huntley. The speedy back had a strong start to camp but suffered a rib injury and missed the last two preseason games.

The Eagles will move forward with Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, Kenneth Gainwell, and Jordan Howard as their 4-man rotation in the backfield.

  • DT Raequan Williams
  • CB Craig James
  • WR Andre Patton
  • CB Michael Jacquet
  • OL Ross Pierschbacher
  • RB Elijah Holyfield
  • WR Marken Michel
  • TE Cary Angeline
  • DE JaQuan Bailey
  • LB Rashad Smith
