The group consists of QB Jalen Hurts, LB Alex Singleton, C Jason Kelce, DE Brandon Graham, DT Fletcher Cox, and S Rodney McLeod. Nick Sirianni noted today in a press conference that the selections were made via player voting:
Sirianni said the players voted for the captains. “There’s other guys that got votes but those are the six that got the most votes. No surprise to me, those guys have been great leaders since I’ve gotten here and have been great leaders in the past.” #Eagles https://t.co/rWz3PuEnKa

Jalen Hurts joins a group of long-tenured veterans to nobody’s surprise. The second-year QB has taken command of the team since Wentz’s departure and was named the starter for the upcoming season by his head coach last week.
Hurts still has to perform on the field, but this is another encouraging sign that the Eagles like what they see in their second-round pick from a year ago.
