49ers fans are already making a big mistake ahead of their week two matchup against the Eagles in Philly

The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a huge week one victory, as they destroyed the Falcons in Atlanta 32-6. This week, they have the San Francisco 49ers coming to South Philadelphia for the 2021 home opener. The Eagles are underdogs at home and currently listed at +3.5 for Sunday’s matchup. That should come as no surprise. No one in the media has given the Eagles any respect this year and I wouldn’t expect that to change any time soon.
The 49ers have already lost this game. Why do I say that? Honestly it has nothing to do with the actual game but more due to the fact that their fans are planning a Rocky “statue” picture before heading to South Philadelphia for the game.
First of all, I am totally shocked that the 49ers have fans in the area, or just fans in general that would travel to Philadelphia to watch them play. California stinks. Their sports fandom is an absolute joke. I can’t believe that they even have enough people to organize this type of event. Plus, the fact that they have to plan a photo shoot has to be the lamest thing I’ve ever seen from an opposing fan base since the last time this happened.
The obvious mistake here dates back to when the Vikings did something similar before the NFC Championship game. It turned out to be a complete disaster as the Eagles lead by Nick Foles embarrassed them the whole way back to Minnesota.
When will opposing fan bases learn? Probably never. At least we can guarantee a win on Sunday. Fly Eagles Fly.
