Charles Bassey leaks 76ers new City Uniforms via Snapchat

Via Charles Bassey’s Snapchat, we have our first look at the 76ers’ City Uniforms for this upcoming season. The design is very similar to what I’ve heard before the leak, so these are definitely the design for the forthcoming season. The uniform combines the word mark of the 1971-1976 uniform with the bubble letters of the late 70s design.
Barely seen, but the best part of the uniform is the side panels that showcase the design of the old Spectrum and really bring the 70s design together. It’s hard to detail the entire look from this one photo, especially with no shot of the shorts, but it gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect.
The navy color has never been featured as a primary color on a 76ers’ uniform before, making the bright red pop. After a weak City and Earned uniform grouping last season, this design knocks it out of the park.
According to the 76ers’ announcement last week, the full reveal of the uniform is planned for November through NFTs, but this leak might force the team to push that date up. Last season’s earned uniforms leaked months early, and so have numerous others. The entire NBA is combining past uniforms for this season’s City Uniforms in honor of the NBA’s 75th anniversary.
