Delaware Blue Coats bring back a familiar face ahead of 2021/2022 season

The Delaware Blue Coats are gaining some additions to their roster ahead of this season. According to Keith Pompey, the 76ers signed and immediately waived Jarden Brownridge and Braxton Key yesterday afternoon. The two are now expected to join the Blue Coats for their upcoming training camp.Â
Jared Brownridge is a familiar name to Delaware, having been with the team since 2018. Meanwhile, Braxton Key is a UDFA from the 2020 NBA Draft who has yet to find a home. Key was a wing for both Alabama and Virginia in college, being part of the Cavaliers’ 2019 NCAA championship team.
These two will join two-way players Grant Riller and Aaron Henry for the Blue Coats’ upcoming season. There will be numerous new faces down at the 76ers Fieldhouse this season, with Delaware hosting a new coaching staff and roster.
The Delaware Blue Coats’ 2021/2022 season is just around the corner, with opening night only a few weeks away on November 6th. After a dominant showing in the G-League bubble where the Coats reached the finals, they can hopefully continue that success this season.
