Dumb Eagles fan throws something at Steve Smith, ruins the nice moment that happened during the game

Well this certainly backfired. Just when I hit publish on a post about how great it was to see a Philadelphia Eagles fan give a Leonard Fournette touchdown football to a Buccaneers fan, I come across another video from last night’s Eagles-Bucs game. Before I saw this video, I thought that Philadelphia sports fans were finally making a turn for the better. Now, it looks like there are still idiots in our midsts. During the pregame show, some idiot Eagles fan threw something at Steve Smith.
Awesome. Thanks for making us all look bad. Maybe we can all overlook this video and just focus on the football guy instead? Probably not. My guess, this video will be more popular than the act of kindness that happened during the game. Why even throw anything at Steve Smith anyways? If you’re going to act like an asshole, at least throw something at Michael Irvin. He’s a Cowboy after all. That would have made more sense and honestly, something I could probably get behind (not really).
Honestly, this guy is lucky that Steve Smith was live on air. The way he turned around after getting hit in the back was scary. I wouldn’t have blamed Smith if he jumped into the crowd and beat the crap out of the guy.
This is the shit that buries the city of Philadelphia in the national media. These are the videos people turn to when they are trying to make a case about how awful it is to play in Philadelphia or attend a sporting event as a member of an opposing fanbase.
Nice job, dumb ass. Let’s all just focus on this video instead, shall we?
