Eagles bolster their roster ahead of Week 7 matchup against Raiders

After dealing with a lengthy list of injuries for the past several weeks, several Philadelphia Eagles are looking to make their return this Sunday against Las Vegas. Earlier today, the Eagles announced that they opened the 21-day practice window for Tyree Jackson and Kโ€™Von Wallace, clearing their way to return.

Jackson has been dealing with a back injury for several months but was a standout during training camp. Wallace has been dealing with numerous injuries to start the season and went on IR after sustaining an injury against the Cowboys. With Anthony Harrisโ€™ recent performance, the Eagles could look at Kโ€™Von Wallace to start once he returns.ย

Lane Johnson was also back at practice this week but is only participating in limited activity. Johnson is fully healthy but is just taking a slow return after his lengthy absence. If he returns, Jordan Mailata will return to left tackle with Andre Dillard headed to the bench. The Raiders have one of the best pass rush defenses in football, so having Lane Johnson back would be a massive boost.ย

In practice squad news, Richard Rodgers once again rejoins the team, having been on and off the practice squad numerous times. Rodgers is replacing tackle Casey Tucker and could be a permanent fixture with the departure of Zach Ertz. Meanwhile, the Raiders signed cornerback Desmond Trufant yesterday to bolster their secondary.
