Eagles training camp standout to return tomorrow against Chargers

After missing over two months, tight end Tyree Jackson has finally returned to the Eagles active roster, being reinstated from the 21-day practice window. Jackson was one of the biggest surprises from training camp alongside speedy wideout, Quez Watkins. Philadelphia has also activated John Hightower and Jordan Howard from the practice squad.
The former quarterback has transitioned well at his new position and could make an impact on the Eagles this season. After the departure of Zach Ertz, the TE2 spot is wide open, currently held by Jack Stoll.
Jackson will not likely take the spot this week, but he could slide into it over the coming weeks. Another Eagle that is expected headed off the IR shortly is Brandon Brooks, who was initially projected to return after eight weeks.
For Hightower and Howard, they are replacing J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and, of course, Miles Sanders. Jordan Howard is bound for another big performance after a dominant showing against Detroit and facing an even worse rush defense.
