Jalen Hurts to throw 2+ TDs vs. Broncos (Boosted from +145 to +180)
Philadelphia is going up against a far more average defense this week than Los Angeles or Detroit. Both teams had horrid run defenses, while the Broncos is far better. Against the Chargers, Hurts had just one touchdown and didn’t throw a single one against Detroit.
Jalen Hurts has thrown two or more touchdowns four times this season, with the most recent occurrence being against the Las Vegas Raiders. There has been a clear improvement in his passing ability over the last few weeks, and there won’t be as much of a reliance on the running game this week. Jalen Hurts should be able to pass this one with ease if everything goes to plan.
Steelers to win both halves vs. Lions (Boosted from +140 to +175)
Pittsburgh suffered a late blow last night, with Ben Roethlisberger heading to the COVID/Reserve list. Losing Big Ben won’t be as much of a loss as people might think it is. Throughout the season, Roethlisberger’s arm has been shot, and his ability to pass over 20 yards is nearly gone.
Detroit is a horrid football team, and the Steelers defense will take them out of this game entirely. I have a lot of confidence that Pittsburgh can pull out of this one with a win. It just might be a low-scoring battle, so I’d consider the under if you’re looking at other bets.
Packers, Cardinals, and Chargers all to win (Boosted from +195 to +250)
All three of these teams have super tough matchups today despite what the records may look like. The Packers will be getting Aaron Rodgers back this afternoon, but Seattle is also bringing Russell Wilson off injured reserve. One thing that could help the Packers is that it’s currently snowing at Lambeau Field.
Arizona is likely without Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins once again against the Carolina Panthers. The Cardinals still beat the 49ers last week without these two, so it could very well happen again. Meanwhile, the Chargers are hosting the Minnesota Vikings.
All three of these teams could very well win, but they aren’t easy games whatsoever. With how these odds stand, I would stay away from this one today. It seems like one of these teams is bound for an upset.
Josh Jacobs or Travis Kelce to score first (Boosted from +345 to +415)
Another layup bet, especially with how the odds stand. Josh Jacobs has been the bell cow back for the Raiders and is primed to see heavy touches against a weak Chiefs defense. Travis Kelce has been a lone bright spot for Kansas City this season and has still been Mahomes’ top guy.
I would easily expect the Raiders to ground and pound the ball early to get situated while the Chiefs target their top wideout. At +415, getting two shots from each team’s top weapon on offense is a no-brainer.
