Phillies make a bunch of hires in the baseball operations department including Howie Kendrick

The Philadelphia Phillies announced a bunch of new hires in the baseball operations department today. Brian Kaplan has been hired as the Director of Pitching Development and MLB Assistant Pitching Coach, Jason Camilli as assistant hitting coach and Howie Kendrick has been hired as the special assistant to the General Manager.
Brian Kaplan will join The Phillies from Cressey Sports Performance. Kaplan is the co-founder of Cressey Sports Performance which is located in Jupiter, Florida. He is a coach and trainer for professional and amateur baseball players.
After retiring as a player, Jason Camilli was a hitting instructor in the Washington Nationals organization while also being a fielding and hitting instructor in Arizona. Most recently, he was a coach for the ACL Reds in 2021.
Howie Kendrick should honestly just play left field for the Philadelphia Phillies in 2022.
Kendrick played in 121 games in 2019 with the Washington Nationals and hit .344 with 17 home runs and 62 RBI. Last year, he hit .275 with two home runs and 14 RBI with the Nats but appeared in only 25 games.
At the very least, hopefully he can bring Juan Soto to Philadelphia sometime soon. Dave Dombrowski rebuilding the Phillies front office is great to see. Keep it coming buddy.
Now we just need Bryce Harper to win the MVP and Zack Wheeler to steal the Cy Young Award and we’ll be full speed ahead into the MLB offseason.
