Rumor: Jack Driscoll to miss several weeks with ankle injury suffered against Giants

Another tough blow to the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line. According to John Clark, guard Jack Driscoll is expected to miss a few weeks with his ankle injury suffered earlier against the New York Giants. Driscoll will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury specifically.

From the start, Jack Driscoll’s injury didn’t look good, being carted off the field and ruled out almost immediately. Driscoll has battled through injuries all season and has been a warrior on this offensive line. Hopefully, he can make a quick recovery and be back before the end of the season.

Alongside Driscoll, Jason Kelce battled through injury and looked to be in obvious pain. We will likely get an update on both of these guys tomorrow. The Eagles’ o-line depth is incredibly slim at the moment. Brandon Brooks hasn’t been cleared from IR yet, Jack Anderson was just placed on injured reserve, and Isaac Seumalo is done for the season.

If Herbig plays in place of Jack Driscoll, their only backup at either spot is Sua Opeta, with no backup center available. Depending on how things go, I wouldn’t be shocked if the Eagles went after another guard this week to bring some depth ahead of their game against the New York Jets.
