Flyers activate Wade Allison, send him to Lehigh Valley

After dealing with several injuries, Flyers forward Wade Allison is one step closer to returning to the team. Earlier today, the team announced that Allison had been loaned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Allison, the 52nd pick in the 2016 draft, has dealt with numerous injuries, most recently a high ankle sprain suffered during their rookie game.
The power forward looked pretty good in limited time last season, scoring four goals and netting three assists in just 14 appearances. Being sent to Lehigh is primarily due to conditioning and getting back to full-game speed after missing so much time. The Phantoms have been struggling and could use help for this short period, currently sitting at 3-10-5 on the year.
Forward Max Willman was loaned alongside Wade Allison as well and should also help the team depth-wise. Currently for the Flyers, they are on the road tonight against the New York Rangers, hoping to snap a six-game losing streak.
