We have a new fight song for Philadelphia Sports from PokeJawn

Every team in Philadelphia has their own fight song. Eagles have “Fly Eagles Fly”, Sixers have “Here Come the Sixers”, the Phillies have “High Hopes”, and I’m sure the Flyers have something. Last I paid attention to the Flyers they had Mac Miller “Knock Knock” playing in the locker room so we’ll just go with that. Don’t get me wrong, all those songs are great, but I think we have to throw a new song into the mix that really covers all Philly sports teams plus, Pokémon.
Yes, Pokémon. I don’t know shit about Pokémon but I can tell you who knows everything about them, and that would be PokéJawn. Just stop reading and check out their theme song before we continue.

At this point, you’re probably like “what the fuck is going on” while also finding the song incredibly catchy. I came across PokéJawn on Instagram and ended up talking with them in the DMs. These guys even threw a concert in Montco and had Wheatus perform. Yes, Teenage Dirtbag, Wheatus. At the show, they even performed their own version of Teenage Dirtbag, which is also up on their Instagram.
Probably the best part out of all of this, is when they called into the Mike Missanelli show and asked if he ever heard of PokéJawn. Mikey Miss, being the complete bozo he is, had no idea who PokéJawn was. Looks like Tyrone had no idea either. Thought these guys were supposed to represent Philly and you don’t know who PokéJawn is?
Cmon, bro. That’s a violation.
Anyways, pretty funny stuff from PokéJawn. After talking to them, they assured me they were all “Philly scumbag diehards” just like The Liberty Line, so I figured we’d show em some love.
Make sure to give them a follow on Instagram. Get in now before they take over the city. Also, if you’re into Pokémon, I think it’s pretty clear on who you have to talk to about trading cards.
“I wanna be, the very best at harassing Dallas fans. I flip them off, say Cowboys suck, I berate them in the stands!”
Now thats a hype song we can all get behind. Cheers.
